Oh goody, the Dems are planning on giving away another $150 billion worth of wealth redistribution.

Acting as if Obama has already been elected Pelosi is making plans on spending more money. I wonder if she’ll give fellow Democrat lawmakers permission not to vote on this bill like she did the bailout.

After consulting with Barack Obama, Democratic leaders are likely to call Congress back to work after the election in hopes of passing legislation that would include extended jobless benefits, money for food stamps and possibly a tax rebate, officials said Saturday.

Looks like Obama got caught cooking the books.  They were paying the ACORN offshoot to “get out the vote for them” Obama told the FEC they were just doing some polling. Now they have to correct the FEC record. Something tells me this won’t be all over the news tonight.

 The Obama campaign response: “It’s ok, really, this sort of thing happens all the time.”

“Accidently misrepresented” …yeah right. Liberal call less than this a lie. Don’t forget, they said Bush was lying when he stated the fact that Brittish intelligence reported Hussein was seeking yellow cake uranium… But that was a couple years ago, this is 2008. Liberal standards change from hour to hour.

RNC:

“Barack Obama’s failure to accurately report his campaign’s financial records is an incredibly suspicious situation that appears to be an attempt to hide his campaign’s interaction with a left-wing organization previously convicted of voter fraud. For a candidate who claims to be practicing ‘new’ politics, his FEC reports look an awful lot like the ‘old-style’ Chicago politics of yesterday.”

Let’s hear it for the “uncommitted voters” over at Self-composed.

If you are reading this, and you still haven’t made up your mind. If you’re still on the fence. If you are still not sure who would be better for the country, do me a favor, do the right thing and don’t bother. Just stay home on Wednesday November 5th, stay home on super-Wednesday and don’t go out and vote. Leave that to those of us who are informed.

FoxNews poll - big win for McCain - 86%

Some fancy CBS poll where they asked 516 “uncommitted” voters - 40% said Obama won.

Oh, ok - the rest of the truth is, the poll numbers said only 26% saw it as a win for McCain. The rest thought it was a draw.

Obama is preemtively countering all scrutiny of his past elbow rubbing with angry extremists, unrepentent terrorist bombers, and other radicals by launching a new ad and talking point campaign that goes something like: “we have to talk about the economy, and only the economy, because talking about anything else is just trying to change the subject and a distraction.”

What happened to “we can walk and chew gum at the same time?” Just days ago Obama didn’t want to be distracted from his campaign by actually doing something about the economy problem. He didn’t call one legislator prior to the first vote in the House to secure support for the bailout bill.

Senator Obama didn’t mind distractions yesterday when he set up a web site and released a 13 minute ad about the Keating Five.

There is a definite need to talk about both the economy and either candidate’s background, character, and judgement. I want to hear what McCain plan to do exactly and I want to hear exactly what Obama plans to do to fix this mess, but we need to know what kind of person we’re putting in the White House to. The president manages more than the economy.

It’s about time.  I wonder if this conventional wisdom that going negative is bad is all that conventional or wise?

The GOP presidential candidate told a campaign rally: “Sen. Obama has accused me of opposing regulation to avert this crisis. I guess he believes if a lie is big enough and repeated often enough it will be believed.”

In some of the harshest language yet, McCain said the campaign comes down to a simple question: Who is the real Barack Obama?

McCain drew the loudest cheers when he said the Democrat has written two memoirs but “he’s not exactly an open book.”

Obama is right - a lie will be believed if it is repeated enough. Obama is no fool. He’s observed how things work and his handlers have probably wrongly assured him he can get away with lies. That is about to change I hope.
